Mr. Flemmings F.B. Nkhandwe, Executive Director/Technical Advisor
Mr. Nkhandwe joined AMAMI as its first executive director/technical advisor in July 2013. He holds a B.Sc. degree in nursing, master’s of public health degree, midwifery certificate, and diploma in nursing from the University of Malawi. Prior to joining AMAMI, Mr. Nkhandwe was associated with the University of Livingstonia’s Ekwendeni College of Health Sciences, first as a lecturer (1998-2002) and then as principal (2002-13). He also has served as an adjunct clinical instructor at the Kamuzu College of Nursing and clinical registered nurse midwife at Ekwendeni Hospital.
Mrs. Eleanor Dzikolaeni Kumbemba, Administration Manager
Mrs. Kumbemba joined AMAMI in May 2011. She earned her Bachelor of Commerce degree in Human Resource Management and Development in 2008 from the University of South Africa and passed with distinction an applied computer literacy and office management course while there. She also holds a Teachers Training Certificate from the Lilongwe Teachers Training College. Prior to joining AMAMI, Mrs. Kumbemba served as a lecturer and teacher at the primary, secondary, and tertiary school levels.
